Thank you for visiting the Cancer Research UK Publications site. We recommend you read our ordering guidelines to familiarise yourself with our new procedures before placing your order.
Cancer Research UK provides a range of publications that GPs can use for their own information or for their patients. Our cancer awareness and campaign resources provide information about different types of cancer and what affects your risk. They also tell you about how to spot the symptoms of cancer early. We also publish two booklets on children's cancer, designed for teachers and parents helping young people return to school after cancer treatment.
We provide information for people affected by cancer on our up-to-date and easy-to-understand website, CancerHelp UK, and via our free specialist cancer information nurses phoneline. You can order posters, leaflets and wallet cards to let people know about our services. A leaflet explaining clinical trials is also available.
The Statistical Information Team at Cancer Research UK produce comprehensive reports containing cancer statistics and information for the UK, Europe and worldwide. CancerStats reports are unique because they assimilate the cancer statistics from all four UK cancer registries - England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. In addition, their content is entirely original and commissioned by us based on public interest and topicality. Browse our range of CancerStats reports. You can find more information about the CancerStats series here.
We’ve also produced a newsletter for GPs called Cancer Insight, which provides our latest cancer information, awareness, policy and research updates. The latest issue includes a feature on prostate cancer. Cancer Research UK has a range of publications related to prostate cancer, including statistical reports and awareness information. Download the November 2009 issue of Cancer insight.
